Við höfum fengið einn stuðningsmann í viðbót, hann Jón Hákon, sem ætlar að greiða mánaðarlega upphæð til skólans auk þess sem hann lætur andvirði allra endurvinnsluumbúða sem til falla á heimlinu renna í byggingarsjóðinn.

Fögnuður í Little Bees þegar jólagjafirnar skiluðu sér til barnanna

Nú eru komnar myndir af fósturbörnunum í Little Bees, með jólagjafirnar sínar.  Þórir Gunnarsson var svo elskulegur að burðast með gjafirnar frá Íslandi og kom þeim til skila fyrir okkur alla leið til Little Bees. Við kunnum honum bestu þakkir fyrir. Lucy segir að börnin séu öll heilbrigð og hamingjusöm. Það stingur mann samt dálítið óþægilega þegar aðeins nokkur börn af miklum fjölda fá gjafir, en hin ekki.  Við verðum að reyna að herða okkur í því að safna fleiri fósturforeldrum!

Lucy vildi koma eftirfarandi til skila:

Dear my cordinator Bryn, I would like again to send you more pictures to send to my little bees lovers and sponsors who have surely loved the little bees orphans, let enjoy the pictures of their foster children, all children were happy and I had bought some gifts to them to please them and they may know that I love them and you too same to their sponsors. thank you again for the money I will go next week to check and also I will send you the message and the pictures taken . Jólagjafirnar skiluðu sér til barnanna í Little Bees

Var að fá póst frá Lucy.  Jólagjafirnar sem stuðningsforeldrarnir sendi fósturbörnunum í Little Bees komust til skila með Þóri, sem var á ferð í Kenía og var svo elskulegur að gera sér ferð til að geta skilað gjöfunum fyrir okkur.  Af Lucy er að frétta, að hún hefur verið á spítala vegna bakverkja og er illa ferðafær.  Við verðum bara rétt að vona að hún jafni sig, því hún er lífið og sálin í öllu starfi Little Bees.

I want to thank you very much dear for comforting my soul in this time Iam passing to illness of my back, Iam in pain my dear but I trust God Almighty for the work of charity Iam doing he will have mercy on me and cure me,
 
I want to thak you once more deep into my heart I received the gifts from our from our dear friend Dotirr who have passed to Kisumu  to meet other friends of Africa who came earlier, he was so good to us he spent 6 hours with us in school and enjojed with children and he took some pictures he will send you when he come back to Iceland, every child have received the gifts and I have taken the photos I am soon emailing to you dear, I have received 10,000 for the christmas dinner, and 30,000 thirty thousand Kenya shilling which Iam budgeting for books and uniforms,and school items. Thank you you have given me a message that after 2 weeks Iam going to receive the rest of the donation , these amount will help me to serve the children food and their needs, Thank you my cordinator you have done alot to little bees I wish the economy of your country may rise I may get the enough money as I was receiving.Marion and the whole little bees were happy with christmas card when they saw Marion, I tell you your daughter is ever jolly she tells the classmate I told you look how beautiful my picture card is, my sponsor Bryn loves me very much and I love her and I think when she comes I will leave and go to Iceland, oh dear Marion is so good and jolly. How was the collection of christmas dear Bryn? All these are touching my heart how sure you are sacrificing to little bees orphans, I tell God himself shall bless you for your great efforts towards little bees and mama Lucy. Til stuðningsforeldra little barnanna í Little Bees

Ég var að fá póst frá Lucy, hún biðst innilega afsökunar á að vera ekki búin að senda skýrslur um börnin, aðeins bréf frá þeim sjálfum.  Ástæðan er sú að hún fór í bakinu og hefur verið á sjúkrahúsi.  Hún þarf væntanlega að fara í uppskurð.  Öll börnin er við góða heilsu og líður vel.  Hún hefur ekki enn fengið peningana frá okkur sem hún átti að fá í nóvember, vegna ástandsins hérna, en þeir munu verða sendir núna strax eftir helgi.  Ég bætti líka við 15 þús. kr. til að kaupa fyrir í jólamatinn handa öllum hópnum.

Hi Bryn, Marions sponsor, It has been so difficult to me to reach you in emails, I have been sick for three monts during the post election I think I told you that my family were the victims we were beaten, sme to my son Victor, but because my age is 57 years Iam now passing some pains at my back which has been scanned for three times, Iam not feeling very well I need to be operated, so dear Bryn, Iam very sorry for the past three monts reports from my children who are sponsored, so they were only writing letters and my son Victor was scanning the letters to  you without reports. The children are doing good I have just removed from my bed today from the National Hospital in Nairobi and the first question I was asked by the sponsored children and others asked me Mama Lucy are we not going to eat good dishes on Christmas dinner, and Marion asked me but my sponsor buys food for all Little bees children is she not bringing christmas gifts, new dresses and christmas will be on Thursday, same to Robin Owino, Nicole Achieng, Mohamed Daudi, Nelly Wairimu,Agnes Wanjiku, Macrine Amollo,Amos Imbeva,Silvance Manyala , and Calvin Clein, I could not answer that is why I have walked slowy to the internate to write these few requests to you and others. I have read that the economy of your country is very low, and Kjartan have not send the little money to us,so I have nothing to answer your foster children. Thank you for good news that you are collecting money in this Christmas, God bless you Bryn for your concern towards littlebees to build the new classes in our school. I want to thank you very much friend of Africa for the whole year of 2008 for the great donations you have send to Little Orphans children, I want to that all sponsors with great love deep into my heart , you friends of Africa you have make Little bees shines in the slums, special thanks goes to grandma Inga, grand Pa Beggi, for their great big heart  that is why little bees have got sponsors, I bless you all and may you enjoy your Merry Christmas and happy new year, I love you and you are all dear to  my heart, even when I was on my bed I was thinking of your love and mercy to little bees children.
